Our business has undergone a significant transformation, now offering comprehensive machining solutions supported by a specialized Technical Support Department featuring advanced S'tec and S'hub facilities. We’ve expanded our product portfolio to include machining, maintenance, measuring, and liquid tools, alongside tailored training programs and system integrator solutions.

With a service network catering to over 500 customers in the manufacturing sector, we are dedicated to continuous innovation and excellence, ensuring customer satisfaction through close collaboration with our clients, suppliers, and business partners.

Building a Legacy Since 2007

For SUMITEC’s remarkable milestone, we reflect on our humble beginnings in 2007, when we started our business in the southern and central regions. Initially, we primarily focused on cutting tools, with 75% of our supplies sourced from Japan and the remaining 25% locally. Our founding brands, including Sumitomo, HPMT, Union Tool, and Big Daishowa, laid the foundation for our commitment to quality and innovation.
SUMITEC's Northern Venture

In 2010, we expanded our horizons by venturing northward and establishing a branch in Penang, marking a pivotal moment in our geographic growth.
Diversifying for Customer Needs

A significant chapter in our story unfolded as we recognized the needs and wants of our customers, prompting us to diversify our product range. This strategic decision allowed us to become distributors for various German brands, expanding our offerings beyond cutting tools and positioning us as a comprehensive solutions provider. Our partnerships now include Blum, Horn, Baublies, Lang Technik, and Lube.
SUMITEC’s Journey into Industry 4.0

It marked a turning point as we acknowledged Industry 4.0. Embracing this transformative concept, we committed to sharing its benefits with our customers. To deepen our understanding and effectively showcase our evolving products, we established S'TEC, our technical center, and became the distributor for Zoller.
The Smart Workshop Initiative

To provide total solutions, we took a giant leap by adopting the concept of a smart workshop. This strategic move was not just a technological upgrade; it was a commitment to offering comprehensive solutions and staying ahead in a dynamic landscape. We also added measuring tools from Wenzel and maintenance tools from Blaser to our product range.
A Commitment to Sustainability

We took another bold step forward by recognizing the importance of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles. We integrated the concepts of ESG into the very DNA of our business, reflecting our dedication to a more sustainable and responsible future.
Launching Training Provider and System Integrator Units

We launched new business units: Training Provider and System Integrator. These initiatives are designed to enhance our service offerings, providing comprehensive training solutions and seamless system integration for our clients, thereby reinforcing our commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.
